Windows 10 end of life, what do we think?

Windows 10 will officially reach it's end of life on October 14, 2025.
What are your thoughts on this?
Windows 10 was unique, and probably the best OS Microsoft has come up with. Big businesses and schools are now being forced to switch to 11 due to Windows 10 reaching end of support.
I would personally enjoy it if Microsoft would let you pay for extended support for the OS, so you can continue to use it while still being maintained with security updates.
Windows 11 is ugly, has bugs, and makes life harder, in a lot of different ways.
Take the fact that to switch web browsers you have to manually switch all of your current applications to your new browser. What a pain.
And when you right-click on your Desktop you have to click "Show more options" to see the full list of options.
What are your thoughts on Windows 11 and 10's end of life?

It's really sad that Windows 10 is gonna end this year but we can use Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC for more security updates until Jan 13, 2032 (on IoT LTSC 2021) so if we can switch to IoT LTSC then we can be fine and still be secure. And also Microsoft probably released ESU for Windows 10 like they did with Windows 7, etc.

Resen Yes, it would be nice to have ESU for 10. I would definitely be in...
I also had no clue about IoT Enterprise LTSC either. I actually just did some research, never heard of that before. That's useful.
I can unfortunately see local businesses in my area using 11.

Yeah, it's really sad people are switching to Windows 11 just because Microsoft hates everything nice in the world. Like 90% of Windows Users don't know about IoT LTSC and it's actually better than stock Windows because there's no Candy Crush by default and there are less telemetry stuff and it actually runs pretty fine on old hardware.

Like I myself daily drived Windows 10 IoT LTSC 2021 and 11 IoT LTSC 2024 on my main computer and I gotta say it was running smoother than stock windows.

I don't like the fact that win10 support is ending, but at the same time I think we can't really expect them to keep supporting it forever. Its likely costing them alot of resources to keep it going. That being said it's still not great, I just think we're looking at the wrong issue really. The problem isn't that win10 is ending, its that win11, what's supposed to replace it, isn't actually better. What Microsoft should have done really is focus on why win11 isn't popular before they force people to use it. If win11 actually had enough to entice people over then so many people wouldn't be complaining. That's just my take on it anyway...

Juke We can just use IoT Enterprise LTSC, It's lightweight, has no bloat, and has more security updates.

Juke 100% agree with you actually.
It's not the fact that Windows 10 is leaving that's the problem, it's that Windows 11 is supposed to be better when it's quite the opposite.
